This year is the bicentennial of the birth of Ulysses S. Grant. In this presentation, National Park Ranger Nick Sacco (Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site) will discuss the ways St. Louis shaped Grant’s life and explain why Grant, while President of the United States, remarked that St. Louis was one of the only places he had ever felt a connection.
